HERCULES — November 2, 2026. Hercules has adopted a Parks and Recreation Facilities Master Plan to set priorities for its parkland, trails, facilities and community services.
A long-term spending framework
The city’s master-plan page describes a ten-year direction and a more focused five-year action plan, informed by public outreach, community stakeholders and local officials.
What residents can review
The plan addresses parks, recreation facilities, trails and open space. People can consult the full city document to understand which amenities were identified as important and which need further design or maintenance planning.
Funding is a separate decision
A priority appearing in the plan does not by itself mean that construction has been funded or started. Specific project approvals, environmental review and contracting take place through later government actions.
